Strep throat in children: symptoms like sore throat and pain while swallowing is common and due to this their appetite decrease and may also suffer from abdominal pain.
Strep throat in older children and teenagers: people of this age group suffer from the signs of strep throat like sever sore throat. High fever is also a common symptom.
Strep throat in adults: in this age group usually symptoms are not so severe.
Usually doctors predict viral infection from the symptoms like running nose, cough, hoarseness, eye redness, muscle aches, ulcers in the mouth and diarrhea but they should also keep in mind that these could be the signs of strep throat also.
